Almond Bark with Pretzels and Popcorn

This homemade Almond Bark with Pretzels and Popcorn is a delightful confection with all the fun goodies in it. Three types of chocolate, slivered almonds, pretzel sticks, popcorn, candy cane pieces and rainbow sprinkles combine together to form this irresistible treat.

Ingredients
 
 

  • 8 oz milk chocolate
  • 3 oz white chocolate
  • 3 oz semi sweet chocolate
  • 2 oz popped popcorn
  • 2 oz almond slivers
  • 2 oz pretzel bits
  • 2 tbsp crushed peppermint candy cane candy
  • 1 tbsp rainbow sprinkles

Instructions
 

  • Melt the milk chocolate in the microwave (approximately 2 minutes in a 1200 Watt microwave.) Spread it out over a Silpat baking mat.
  • Add the almond slivers and the broken pieces of pretzels to the chocolate.
  • Distribute the popcorn evenly over the chocolate and pretzels. Gently press the popcorn and pretzels into the chocolate.
  • Melt the white and semi sweet chocolates separately and drizzle them over the tray. Using a food service squeeze bottle makes the drizzling easier.
  • Disperse the peppermint candy pieces and rainbow sprinkles.
  • Work quickly, all the toppings need to stick to the melted chocolate. Leave to harden in a cool area or refrigerator. Using a pizza cutter, cut the bark into rectangles, 1 tray yields 15 pieces measuring 3" x 3⅓".
